Brief Overview:

While at Law School Alan started the Sports and Entertainment Law Society with Guest Lecturer Charles Barkley. He  was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Phi Delta Phi-Legal Honor Fraternity and Note and Comment Editor of the Delaware Law Review of Corporate Law where he published an article entitled “Corporate Drug Testing: Private Employers’ Right to Test,”, 12 Del J. Corp., L. 3 , 1987. Upon graduation he served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Murray Goldman of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. After completing his clerkship, Alan worked for the City of Philadelphia Law Department where he rose to the level of Chief Assistant City Solicitor. He Represented the City of Philadelphia and its various departments, including police, fire, prison, water, and streets in defending personal injury and civil rights lawsuits. After leaving the City Law Department Alan returned to the firm of Abramson & Denenberg, P.C. to work alongside his father and brother and is now a partner. He has lectured on Advocacy Skills for the Young Lawyer and served as a Judge in the NITA trial advocacy program for the last 10 years.

Fun Fact people may not know about you:

Alan enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending quality time with his wife and relaxing “down the shore”. He is usually seen with his dog Ruby at his side both at work and at play. He is an avid Bruce Springsteen fan and has seen the Boss too many times to count and as far away as Amsterdam. When relaxing, he enjoys shows like Law and Order, CSI and Judge Judy.
